Concord High School Band members Sondra Sewell (piccolo), Tyson Walker (clarinet), Joshua Sharp (alto saxophone), Luke Holt (trombone), Brendan Bush (trombone), and Lynzy Cornell (percussion) were selected to play in Olivet College's High School Honor Band. The 105 piece band was comprised of excellent band members from over 30 schools. They first received the music at 8:30 AM and after five and a half hours of rehearsals and sectionals, they performed three pieces on a concert shared with the Olivet College Wind Ensemble. The rehearsals were with Olivet College's band director, Dr. Duby. Also during the day was a campus tour, 2 meals in the dining hall, and question and answer panel with current students.
